Locksets

A Lockset provides a traditional look for any style or make of door. Lockset styles range greatly--patio door locksets, for example, will look very different from front door locksets--but what they all essentially consist of is the assemblage of parts that makes a traditional locking mechanism function. Thus the knob, handle, or lever, the latch retractor, the strike (the durable piece of metal that holds the door closed when locked), the cylinder, the locking mechanism, all the various moving and interconnected parts, and any other facing seen on the front of the door in addition to the opening mechanism are all considered part of the lockset.

Locksets are a very popular product, there many different brands to choose from, and these brands produce products of varying quality. Because a lockset is a relatively complex machine, consisting of many moving and interlocking parts, it is important to choose a brand that manufactures a product that contains parts that are expertly machined, with springs that are of a high quality and interlocking parts that are precision-made to prevent loosening over time. You will also want a lockset that you can trust to keep you secure, which is why we go out of our way to exclusively stock models that are pick-resistant, rust-resistant, and can withstand attacks by heavy amounts of force, all qualities that are especially important for commercial locksets.
