Cam Locks

For locks on smaller doors of all types, cabinets, displays, vending machines, boxes, drawers and other non-entryway doors, we carry cam locks, exclusively. This is because the cam lock is the only small lock that can match our high standards for security. At three quarters of an inch in diameter, the cam lock may be small, but it has all the toughness of a much larger lock. The rugged metal construction of all of our cam locks makes them impervious to common burglary tools like drills, saws, and hammers. Not only will brute force be countered, but the locks' unique key shapes also provides security against lock pickers. If that's not enough, we also provide cam locks with keys that are protected against unauthorized duplication, so that all methods of unwanted entry will be prevented.

A cam lock's unique design will make it instantly recognizable, but there are several subsets of this type of lock to choose from. Among these types are the Pagoda cam locks, which come with keys that look similar to smaller versions of a key for a typical lockset. While these keys may be smaller, they don't sacrifice security at all. Gem cam locks are an innovative and doubly secure combination of a key and a combination lock. For the sake of convenience, their combinations can easily be changed by the owner of the lock. Tubular cam locks are the ones that comes with the most uniquely shaped key. The keys are rounded (thus the name tubular), so lock picking tools designed for standard shaped locks will be irrelevant to this lock. Also, the average hardware store will not have the means to make duplicates of keys of this shape, which will prevent unwanted duplication. However, all of our cam locks do come with multiple keys, so the difficulty of duplication will not be a problem for the owner of the lock. Finally, if you're looking for a switch that comes with a locking mechanism, cam locks are the answer. We carry multiple cam locks that serve as keyed switches.
