LOCKSET W SERIES GRADE 1
- The Lockset W Series features chassis fashioned from cold-rolled steel and coated with zinc dichromate to resist corrosion. Features precision crafted zinc die cast latch retractor. Uses standard 2-1/8" (53.97 mm) bore through door.
- OverDrive: When handle is locked, latch retraction mechanism disengages from lever handle resulting in freewheeling lever action. Rose insert stops are built in to keep lever from rotating further than approximately 57 degrees. 40% more rose insert spring power on on OverDrive" side of door is available, as an option, to ensure lever handle returns to original position.
- Available with standard 2-3/4" (69.85 mm) or 5" (127 mm) backset, when used with H series latch.
- Appropriate door thickness is 1-3/4" (44.45 mm) standard. 1-3/8" (34.92) available by special order.
- The solid brass latch features a 1/2" (12.7 mm) throw. A 3/4" (19.05 mm) throw deadlocking fire latch is available for door pairs. 1" (25.4mm) bore in door edge is required for solid steel, zinc dichromate finished, corrosion-resistant latch housing.
- The latch front comes in a selection of bronze, brass, or corrosion resistant stainless steel. Full radius measures 2-1/4" (57.15 mm) x 1-1/8" (28.57 mm). Also available for beveled, 1/8" (3.175 mm) x 2" (50.80 mm).
- The strike is available in bronze or stainless steel. ANSI A115.2, 4-7/8" (123.82 mm) x 1-1/4" (31.75 mm) curved lip or 2-3/4" (69.85 mm) x 1-1/8" (28.57 mm) T strike standard. All strikes have 1-1/4" (31.75 mm) lip to center dimension. Also available: box strike.
- Mounting information: Two support plates accept thrubolts from inside rose assembly and secure to face of door. Thru-bolts within 2-1/8" (53.97 mm) cross bore.
